The system allows employers to post jobs, search through resumes, and manage candidates. Job seekers can search through a database of job openings by various criteria and specific employers. They can also submit and update resumes for Employers to review.

ETI developed the Career Center System in response to the increasing use of the Web as a recruitment tool. The system specifically provides college career centers and similar institutions with an important tool with which to ensure that their clients are successfully matched with employers in a given field of study.

Employers can use the system to submit a controlled number of jobs online. Changes can be made online and will take effect as soon as they are entered. The Employer side of the system provides an employer detail page on which to display contact information, company profile and benefit information. Employers also have the option of searching through the database of resumes that Job seekers have submitted.

Resumes stored in an electronic format have proven to be much easier to manage than hard copies. Electronic files can be searched for skills, desired job title, education and other criteria. They can be instantly retrieved, updated or deleted.
